Wedding & Celebration Flower Picking
We’re delighted to offer private flower-picking sessions in our Canterbury country garden, created especially for weddings, celebrations, and gatherings. Imagine wandering through rows of seasonal blooms — from dahlias and zinnias to larkspur, cosmos, and more — and hand-picking flowers for your special occasion. It’s a relaxed, joyful way to connect with nature and gather the flowers that will make your event truly personal.
What’s Included
Private access to our flower field during the cooler parts of the day (6–11am or 4–8pm).
Buckets of blooms – $55 per extra bucket, with a minimum of 8 for larger groups. Please bring your own or purchase on-site.
Optional consultation ($100) with Kate, including a large bucket of flowers, if you’d like styling advice prior to your picking day.
Optional Add-On
Make your day even more memorable with catered tea and cake in the garden or flower shed – $35 per person (minimum of 10 guests).
Seasonal Availability
Private picking sessions run from late December to late April, with over 100 dahlia varieties and 60+ other flowers to choose from. Availability is seasonal and weather-dependent.
A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your booking, with the balance due the day before your session.
